We had a record turn out for this match even though ominous weather was obviously coming. I'd like to welcome the numerous new shooters we had this match. Steve Haynes, Bob Elka, Kurt Altenburg, Bob Baker,Cody Sleight and Chuck DeMinck. We're happy to see some new people show up and welcome you back to shoot with us in the future. This match we had more scope class shooters than we had iron sight shooters. That's definately a first, we need some of you to come and shoot long range at Grayling with us. Congratulations to Barb Walters and Paul Behe on their tentative new National Records! And congratulations to the numerous shooters that set new State Records. A special thanks to Paul Behe who cut out round repair centers for our 500 yd target backers and glued them in with me. The centers have gotten shot out quite a lot from our 200 and 300 yard matches.  Despite the lovely weather conditions everyone seemed to have a good time. The 3rd Annual Pig Roast was a crowd favorite as well. I'd like to thank my wife Tina for all her hard work making her potato salad,brownies and corn. Thank you also to the folks that brought food for us to enjoy,Brad Ryan,Bob MacKool,John Wier,LeRoy Sleight,Steve Decker,the Altenburgs,the Freiers,and the Walters. Good times, good food, who could ask for more.
