In order to try and foster more participation Michigan and Ohio joined forces and hosted a simultaneous CMP AIMR championship at Monroe Rifle & Pistol Club on April 22, 2023. The overall winner was awarded the Lt. Kenneth Rusling Trophy. This hopefully will become an annual event and hopefully more participation will ensue.
